Bits & Bites: Start Summer with a Sharper Edge

The Savory Spoon Cooking School will host Kelly Lewis, aka the Traveling Sharpener, on June 17, 9 am – 1 pm. Take your favorite kitchen knives to get them sharpened by a professional because even the best knives get dull over time with regular use, and a sharp knife is a safe knife. 

Lewis can also sharpen scissors, garden clippers and more. (A separate sharpener is used for garden tools from the one that sharpens culinary knives.) She will also visit the Savory Spoon on July 15 and Aug. 19.

Arrive early to drop off your knives at the school, 12042 Hwy 42 in Ellison Bay, or stay to chat. Credit cards are appreciated.
