Bits & Bites: Sunday Funday at HarBar, a Drink with a View and More

Sunday Funday at the HarBar

Check out the HarBar outside the Florian II Supper Club, 8048 Hwy 57 in Baileys Harbor, every Sunday through August, weather permitting. The water-adjacent HarBar will have outdoor games, rafts on the water, frozen and regular cocktails, and more. It will also serve food from the Florian II’s kitchen; the Simply Cuban food truck will provide authentic Cuban food; and Jamie Lynn Fletcher will perform live music, 2-6 pm.

A Drink with a View

Enjoy a drink and a view of Sturgeon Bay’s working waterfront from the new Tug Pub, located on the second floor of the Door County Maritime Museum, 120 N. Madison Ave. Museum guests with paid admission may purchase a beverage to enjoy on the Harder Family Deck, weather permitting, or inside the museum’s new Captain’s Quarters event space. The Tug Pub – a cash-only establishment – will be open in 2021 on select dates. Learn more at dcmm.org.

Learning at the Ledge

The Glacier Ledge Restaurant at Door Artisan Cheese, 8103 Hwy 42 in Egg Harbor, has cooking classes and international dinners lined up through August. Next up, on July 11, will be a class focusing on rubs and marinades, and a July 20 dinner will feature the tastes of Spain.
