BITS & BITES: Winter Dining on the Green at Alpine

The Alpine Resort has a new dining option for winter: Burton’s on the Green is now offering dining in the historical clubhouse at the Alpine Golf Course. 

The eatery will be open year-round for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a menu crafted by executive chef Tony Gorham. Menu items include breakfast pizza, biscuits and gravy, hamburgers, perch, pork chop and chicken sandwiches, soups, salads, fresh fish and ribeye. A kids’ menu is also available for children 10 and younger.

Restaurant hours are Wednesday-Saturday, 8 am – 8 pm, for breakfast, lunch and dinner; and Sundays, 8-11:30 am, for breakfast only. 

There’s a new ice rink for backyard curling games, and guests may take their own skates and also warm up with s’mores and hot drinks around the outdoor fire pits.

Ramen Bowls, Delivery in Ellison Bay

Blue Bear in Ellison Bay is now offering ramen bowls for winter warming. The menu will feature four bowls available for lunch and dinner, from 11 am on, and they’re available for delivery between Sister Bay and Gills Rock as well. Visit bluebeareb.com to get more information.
