Björklunden Hosts Lawrence Viola Studio in Concert Oct. 22

Lawrence University’s Björklunden will host a concert Oct. 22 at 1:30pm. The Lawrence viola studio returns to Björklunden for their annual visit. Their master classes and rehearsals culminate in a public performance on Sunday. The concert will feature varied repertoire spanning several centuries; some intimate works and other pieces that will allow the listener to experience the full glory of Lawrence’s Own Viola Ensemble, now numbering some 20 violas. This concert is free and sponsored by the Boynton Society. It will be held in the serene surroundings of Björklunden’s Vail Hall. Entrance to the Björklunden lodge is located on Highway 57, south of Baileys Harbor, across from Anschutz Plumbing.
