Blackburns Bay Farm Grand Opening Aug. 16 & 17

Blackburns Bay Farm – “where people and animals help one another” – will hold its grand opening Aug. 16, 2-7 pm; and Aug. 17, 8 am – 12:30 pm.

The farm is a place where caregivers can experience respite while connecting, relaxing and rejuvenating because animal-assisted activities have shown many positive results. The farm’s staff has more than 80 combined years of experience caring for the elderly, children and adults with physical, emotional or developmental disorders; and it also has more than 80 combined years of experience with horses, pets and horse services.
