Blacksmithing Demo at The Clearing

The Clearing Folk School will host a demonstration by blacksmith Dan Nauman, Aug. 13 – 15 at the Jens Jensen Visitor Center at 12171 Garrett Bay Road in Ellison Bay. Nauman will demonstrate the art and craft of forging each of the three days from 9 – 11:30 am and 2 – 5 pm. Nauman is the owner of Bighorn Forge in Kewaskum, Wis., and is The Clearing’s consulting blacksmith on The Forge at The Clearing. During the demonstrations, Nauman will make many of the tools that students will use in classes.
