Blessing of the Animals Held on Oct. 7

The Feast of St. Francis is celebrated in many Christian traditions with a Blessing of Animals. St. Luke’s Episcopal Church invites the community to bring pets or a picture of their pets, to the church on Oct. 7 at 1 pm. This includes those “pets” that are beloved stuffed animals as not everyone is able to have living dogs, cats or other animals. The blessing is held in the parking lot of St. Luke’s at 2336 Canterbury Lane, Sister Bay.
