CenterPointe Marina recently sponsored a benefit for the children of Hagley Gap, Jamaica as part of the Blue Mountain Project (BMP). BMP is a grassroots nonprofit organization committed to improving the health, education and economy of Hagley Gap.

Sturgeon Bay residents Kelly Avenson and Jessica Adams serve on the BMP Board of Directors and said, “Right now we are doing a big push for Back 2 School program, to help suit every student to return to school with the supplies they need. For just $100, 24 students will be outfitted with all the supplies they need for the year. The American dollar can really stretch far down there.”

A second benefit will be held September 7 at Greco Gallery on 3rd Avenue in Sturgeon Bay, during the First Friday event.

To contribute, send donations to Blue Mountain Project, 920 Adams Street, Hammond WI 54015.
