Two of the country’s best bluegrass artists from Memphis and Nashville are coming to the Woodwalk stage on 25 at 7 pm.

Eric Lewis is a multi-instrumentalist and one of the country’s best flat pickers. Lewis is also a fine singer/songwriter and lights up the stage with his exuberant, fantastical performances. Over the years, Lewis has been nice enough to bring and introduce some of the fine people he plays with to Door County. In celebration of 10th year of the Jeanne Kuhns-organized Woodwalk Concert Series, Rory Hoffman of Nashville will join Lewis.

Hoffman, who was born blind, has taught himself to play the keyboard and any stringed instrument. Not being able to see how most people hold or play an instrument has given him brilliant and unexpected voicing on the instruments he plays.

Come as early as 5:30 pm and bring a picnic and or a bottle of wine. Beer, snacks and cupcakes from Cupcake Heaven will be for sale. The next show in the series is Chicago folk band Sons Of The Never Wrong on Aug. 1. Tickets are $18 at the door. Call 920.868.2912 or 920.495.2928 for ticket reservations.
