Blues Traveler at DCA

Beloved jam band Blues Traveler takes the stage at Door Community Auditorium (DCA) on July 17 at 8 pm.

Blues Traveler is one of America’s most popular live bands, having built a dedicated fan base with their boundless energy, improvisational live shows, and tireless touring. The band’s breakthrough, multi-platinum selling album four (featuring hit singles “Run-Around” and “Hook”) earned them a Grammy for Best Rock Performance.

Blues Traveler’s most recent album, Blow Up the Moon, is a collaborative effort featuring a range of artists from across the musical spectrum, representing country, pop, reggae and hip-hop.

Rock band The Guess Who follows up Blues Traveler on July 21 at 8 pm. Known for their hit song “American Woman,” among others, Canadian rock band The Guess Who arrived stateside in the 1960s, they took the world of pop music by storm. After five decades on the music scene, The Guess Who is as sharp as ever, now featuring original member Garry Peterson (drums) along with keyboard player/flutist Leonard Shaw, lead guitarist Will Evankovich (Will E), bassist Rudy Sarzo, and lead vocalist/guitarist Derek Sharp (D#).
