Body Recovered in Sheboygan of Drowning Victim from Sturgeon Bay

The bodies of two young men who were swept off a pier in Sheboygan on July 17 were recovered the next day. The victims were Adam LaLuzerne, 22, of Sturgeon Bay and Kurt Ahonen, 21, of Suamico. A third man, 22-year-old Dylan Abeyta of Sturgeon Bay, was also swept off the pier by high waves but was rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard. Winds were gusting to 30 mph at the time the men were washed off the pier by churning waves.
