Boettcher Communications Sold to Father-Daughter Team

Sturgeon Bay-based marketing agency Boettcher Communications, LLC was sold to Mark Summerfield and daughter Shannon Summerfield. For the past nine years, Boettcher Communications had been been owned and operated by Dina Boettcher and specialized in developing a wide range of marketing products for primarily Door County clientele.

The new owners have owned and operated IPSSolutions.com out of Green Bay for the past 15 years. The company’s focus has been automotive inventory, ecommerce, and general web-based solutions. IPSSolutions.com has several longtime clients in Door County and will be expanding the technological aspect of Boettcher Communications.

Mark is a regular visitor in Door County and is enthused with the prospect of owning a Door County-based business, “I’ve always loved visiting Door County and seeing my parents, who had lived in Sister Bay for 15 years. There is no other place with the same unique atmosphere and it’s always been a goal of mine to be a larger part of the Door County community.”
