Local poet Joseph Lopez recently released Paper Tiger Hunters, a book of guided meditation and reflection written for men to help them gather the tools they need to jump-start change, and for their partners and friends who want insight. Topics include trauma, anger, honesty, equality in partnership, therapy, grief, ego, validation, purpose, safety and communication.
Lopez is a domestic-violence intervention program co-facilitator at HELP of Door County who believes that change begins on a local level. He is also the author of Sounds Unheard Songs of Home, The Lethargy of Fog, Scared Gods, Paper Tiger Sounds and A Season through the Door.
Paper Tiger Hunters is available on Amazon and locally starting in June.
