Books and Booyah at the BHC

Jerry Parins, former director of corporate security for the Green Bay Packers, will visit the Belgian Heritage Center (BHC) on Oct. 29 to talk about his book, Bodyguard to the Packers, and his fight against cancer. Parins’ talk will start at 10:30 am. Books with his autograph will be available for a minimum $10 donation, which goes to his charity, Jerry Parins’ Cruise for Cancer. 

Parins will speak about his 40-year association with the Packers, working security for practices and game days and assisting in the weight room. This eventually led to his role as director of corporate security and the responsibility for protecting great names in the NFL and giant crowds of Packer fans.

The BHC will also offer carryout booyah for $10 per quart as a fundraiser. Order by Oct. 28, 12 pm, to pick up on Oct. 29, starting at 11:30 am, at the BHC, 1255 Cty DK in Brussels.
