Boys & Girls Club Introduces New Hires Martha Neigel, Adam Sutter

Two newly hired nonprofit veterans are now in place at the Boys & Girls Club of Door County (BGCDC). Martha Neigel is the Director of Strategic Initiatives, a newly created position, and Adam Sutter is the Director of Resource Development and Marketing.

For more than a decade, Neigel held managerial positions at Lambs Farm, a nationally recognized nonprofit organization serving developmentally disabled adults in Libertyville, Ill. In her role as strategic initiatives director at BGCDC, Neigel will oversee day-to-day operational aspects such as Comprehensive Community Services, membership oversight, staff training, and the food program.

Sutter comes to the resource development role after serving in a similar capacity at the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay. Sutter will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with donors, writing grants, planning special events, and growing the base of BGCDC support.

In addition to the new directors, BGCDC created two positions from what had been one job previously. Rebecca Fredrickson-LaCrosse is the volunteer coordinator and will match interested volunteers with openings in programs or for special events. Linzee Veal is the Membership Coordinator and will interact with current and potential members to ensure a safe and rewarding experience.
