Boys & Girls Club of Door County Breaks Ground for New Lobby

The Boys & Girls Club of Door County officially began construction on Oct. 20 of the new front lobby at the Third Avenue Clubhouse in downtown Sturgeon Bay. The lobby was made possible by a generous gift from 1923 Foundation and will be named the Austin E. Cofrin Lobby. Cindy Follick from the 1923 Foundation joined the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club to launch the building project. The new lobby adds 956 square feet to the existing Boys & Girls Club. When finished, the new entrance will provide ADA-compliant restrooms, the foundation for a future elevator, a community recognition wall for donors and a safe and secure entrance to the club for parents and members.
