Boys & Girls Club World Fair

Foreign exchange student Charlotte Kin teaches members of the Boys & Girls Club about her home country of Belgium.

The Boys & Girls Club of Door County will host its inaugural World Fair on March 6 at the Third Avenue Club House in downtown Sturgeon Bay from 4:30 to 6 pm. This event is open to the public and will feature booths from seven different countries created by members of the Boys & Girls Club of Door County with the assistance of several foreign exchange students in the county.

“We are thrilled to have our foreign exchange students working with the members of the Boys & Girls Club of Door County,” said International Student Exchange Representative Karen Mueller. “This event is a great opportunity for our students to share their cultures and help cultivate a more global perspective for the children of our community.”

The fair will consist of an hour to visit booths from 4:30 to 5:30 pm with a special presentation to take place from 5:30 to 6 pm. This presentation will include member performances of traditional dances and songs from counties included in the fair.
