Braun Qalifies for State Swim Meet

The Door County United girls swim team finished seventh at the Division 1 sectional meet in Neenah on Nov. 6.

Christy Braun qualified for the state meet with a fifth-place finish in the 200-yard individual medley. 

Phoebe Bissen finished ninth in the 50-yard freestyle and 17th in the 100-yard fly. Gaby Moreno finished 18th in the 50-yard freestyle and 23rd in the 100-yard freestyle. Danica Neville finished 10th in the 100-yard breaststroke and 18th overall in the 200-yard individual medley. The 200-yard freestyle relay – comprising Phoebe Bissen, Sanya Weinke, Danica Neville and Cassie Rankin – finished fifth, just shy of qualifying for state.
