Breastfeeding Support Group Meets Every Month

Are you a mom or soon-to-be mom who’s interested in connecting with other breastfeeding moms? Do you need practical information about breastfeeding? Join the Door County Breastfeeding Support Group. Children are welcome, and snacks are provided.

Meeting dates and topics include: “Breastfeeding and Diet,” with guest speaker Kathleen Arnold (Feb. 6); “Breastfeeding and Pumping” (March 6); “How Much Nursing is Normal?” (April 3); “Teething and Nursing Strike” (May 1); “Public Breastfeeding (June 5); “Infant Sleep and Breastfeeding” (July 3); “World Breastfeeding Week” (Aug. 7); “Stress and Motherhood” (Sept. 4); “Extended Breastfeeding” (Oct. 2); “Cluster Feeding” (Nov. 6); and “Milk Storage” (Dec. 4).

Unless noted, Julie Neuchter, WIC peer breastfeeding counselor, facilitates all meetings. All meetings are held at the Moravian Church Nursery, 323 S. Fifth Ave. in Sturgeon Bay, from 11 am to 1 pm.
