On June 23, from 2 – 4 pm, a 125-year rededication ceremony will be held at the Bridal Chapel of Door County with an ice cream social and renewal of vows for couples who married at the chapel.

Donna Streckenbach purchased the Evangelical Church of Nasewaupee in 1990 from the Calvary Assembly of God Church located in Algoma. On July 1, 1996, it was reopened as The Bridal Church of Door County.

The church was built in 1888 on a hill overlooking the Bay of Green Bay by three German immigrant farmers of Nasewaupee: Charles (Carl) Graf, Heinrich (Henry) Lenius and Gottlieb Roder.

The rededication service will be held for the Graf, Lenius and Roder families. There will be more than 100 family members from all over the country attending. They will share memories, sing songs and Rev. Ken Boettcher will officiate with other ministers.
