Broadband Survey Impacts Local Project Funding

The FiberNet Door County Broadband Project is urging community members to visit the new Federal Communications Commission’s national broadband map by Jan. 13 to make sure it accurately reflects the internet access that’s available at area homes and businesses.

If areas are incorrectly finalized as having access that they do not actually have, it could jeopardize Door County’s ability to obtain federal funding for important broadband infrastructure.
