Broadway Star at Kress Pavilion

The Door County YMCA will hold their inaugural Broadway by the Bay event July 12, 5:30 pm at the newly opened Donald and Carol Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor. This premiere event includes hors d’oeuvres and drinks on the spacious patio overlooking the bay followed by a dinner, featuring a custom menu created by Thyme Catering.

Entertainment will commence as the sun sets over the bay. Abby Mueller, star of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical national tour and on Broadway, will perform a cabaret of broadway classics, as well as a few contemporary selections. Mueller’s credits include Carole King in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and Kinky Boots, A Minister’s Wife, School of Rock (Off-Broadway Workshop), Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Joseph and 1776. Mueller is accompanied by Peninsula Players Music Director Valerie Maze and cast members of The Drowsy Chaperone at Peninsula Players will perform selections from the show.

Tickets are $250 per guest, and casual summer attire is encouraged. All proceeds benefit the Door County YMCA’s annual campaign. Tickets can be purchased by contacting Amy Mueller at 920.743.4949 or at give.doorcountyymca.org/broadwaybythebay.
