Award-winning singer/songwriter Buddy Mondlock and bassist Mike Lindauer will perform at the Lost Moth Gallery in Egg Harbor on Nov. 14 at 7 pm.

Mondlock has had his songs recorded by Garth Brooks, Joan Baez, Guy Clark, David Wilcox, Janis Ian, Edwin McCain, Peter, Paul and Mary, and a host of other artists. Nanci Griffith fans will recognize Mondlock’s “Comin’ Down In the Rain” from her Grammy award-winning collection, Other Voices, Other Rooms. He’s also made his own recordings including a collaboration with Art Garfunkel and Maia Sharp called Everything Waits To Be Noticed on EMI/Manhattan Records. Mondlock’s latest solo release, “The Memory Wall,” has been very well received reaching number three on the Folk DJ Charts as well as having been nominated for an Independent Music Award. His previous album, The Edge of the World, won an Indie Acoustic Award.

Mondlock began his career in Chicago playing at the famed “Earl of Oldtown” opening for artists like Steve Goodman and Gamble Rogers. But his big break came in 1986 when legendary songwriter Guy Clark heard him play a song at the Kerrville Folk Festival and liked what he heard.

There will be a meet and greet with snacks and wine at 6 pm and the music begins at 7 pm with Girls of Small Forest opening. Feel free to BYO wine or beer. The Lost Moth Gallery is located at 7975 Hwy 42 in Egg Harbor. Tickets are $20. Reservations highly recommended due to limited seating; call 920.495.2928.
