The Door County Community Foundation recently awarded The Brussels-Union-Gardner (BUG) Fire Department a Sustainability Grant from the Health and Human Needs Fund. This grant will support the necessary land acquisition to make facility updates.

The Fire Department Facility Project is a collaborative effort that brings all components of public safety together. Project partners include fire, emergency medical responders, Door County Ambulance, Door County Sheriff’s Office, and Door County Human Services. This important collaboration will ensure that upgrades to the building and equipment will meet rigorous health and safety standards to better serve residents in their time of need.
