• Baylake Bank and Cellcom recently teamed up to give away two grand prize packages that included a smart phone plus three months of calling and data service. Winners were Mark Gilson and LaVonda Gagne-Scott, both of Green Bay.

Baylake’s new mBanc service for web-enabled phones allows customers to do their banking anytime, anywhere. The mBanc service offers many of the same features as Baylake’s eBanc PC-based online banking service – including secure Internet account access that allows customers to check account balances, transfer funds, make loan payments, and more – but with mBanc, it can be done from any hand-held device with Internet service.

• Cooper’s Corner restaurant and bar has opened for business in the old C&C Supper Club building in downtown Fish Creek.

Visit the newly remodeled bar and restaurant for lunch or dinner, with a new menu featuring upscale casual dining plus some old favorites. Taco Mondays continue. Cooper’s Corner is open Friday through Monday until the end of March. Call 920.868.2667.

• The Egg Harbor Business Association has re-launched its Web site after months of refinement. The new site,, features a quicker navigation menu, events calendar, activities and more detailed information about Egg Harbor businesses and what they have to offer.

The activities areas for Family Fun, Silent Sports and Area Attractions currently default to other Web sites for information at this time. Marketing Administrator James Flinn says, “as with all Web sites, information is always changing and being updated, so keep checking in!”

• Known as “ Door County’s Adventure Center” the Team Leadership Center (TLC) has revamped and is introducing Kayaking Adventures Door County.

A full service paddle shop featuring expert certified kayak instruction, recreational tours, family paddles, trips and adventures and educational workshops and lessons, Kayaking Adventures Door County Paddle Shop is located at 4692 Rainbow Ridge Court, ½ mile south of Egg Harbor on Hwy 42, next to the Door County Outpost. The paddle shop will also sell kayak accessories and gear, new and used kayaks, paddling apparel and camping supplies.
