Business Specific Natural Step Study Circle to Commence

A Natural Step for Business study circle, co-sponsored by the Door County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) and Sustain Door, begins Feb. 22 to provide a forum for local business and community leaders to explore ways to run a successful, sustainable business.

The Natural Step is a framework for sustainable decision-making that utilizes systems thinking and scientific principles.

Using the book Dancing with the Tiger: Learning Sustainability Step by Natural Step by Brian Nattrass and Mary Altomare, a six-week series of self-directed readings, facilitated small group discussions, media presentations, and speakers will begin on Monday, Feb. 22. The group will meet each Monday through March 29 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at the DCEDC conference room at 185 E. Walnut St in Sturgeon Bay. The registration fee for the study circle is $30 per person ($25 for any additional representatives of a particular company), which will include the cost of the book.
