Business Sponsors, Tree Decorators Needed for Merry-Time Festival of Trees

The Door County Maritime Museum’s engaging and family fun “Merry-Time Festival of Trees” returns in 2017, and the museum is looking for businesses, organizations or individuals to sponsor or decorate a Christmas tree. Coinciding with Sturgeon Bay’s Christmas by the Bay activities, the festival runs Nov. 11 – Dec. 12.

Businesses, organizations and individuals have the opportunity to promote their business or cause by donating fully decorated artificial trees that will be on display throughout the event. A sign with the name of the tree’s sponsor will be prominently displayed with each tree. The company name will also appear in the event brochure and website. Visitors will purchase raffle tickets in the hopes of winning the tree of their choice.

Creativity and imagination should be the buzzwords in trimming a tree for this event. In addition to traditional holiday ornaments, lights and trimming, each sponsor will choose a theme and adornments that express the uniqueness of that theme.
