Caffé Tlazo Artist Series Wraps Up with Photographer

Spring has sprung and with it The Tlazo Artist Series returns with local photographer Tom Skubal. On April 11 from 9 am – 2 pm, visit Algoma to enjoy the warm sun, tasty treats of Caffé Tlazo and meet a talented local artist.

Skubal started photography in 1995 with a point and shoot camera, moving up to a Nikon N90 SLR a few years later. He began shooting land and seascapes, turning his passion into the photo art business. His work has expanded to include family, senior and modeling portraits along with sporting events, documentary and photojournalism photography.

Skubal’s photographs are in collections in more than 12 countries; however, one of his favorite projects is local, working as fire photographer for the Kewaunee Fire Department and their mutual aid partners.

Along with the great weather, April will be welcoming this last artist in this year’s Tlazo Artist Series. Stop by for the opportunity to visit with Skubal and to purchase his original photography.
