Caffe Tlazo Exhibits Artwork by Donald R. Randall

On Sunday, Nov. 7 from 10 am – 2 pm, Caffé Tlazo in Algoma will be welcoming local artist Donald R. Randall for their fall Tlazo Artist Series.

After being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease about seven years ago, Randall returned to his interest in art as a way of coping with the lack of sleep caused by disease.

“I have always enjoyed art and decided to pursue my interest with greater intensity by drawing and painting,” said Randall. “My work demonstrates an ability to draw my subjects with an eye for being technically correct, whether my subject is real or imaginary. I try to make my work enjoyable to look at and not difficult to understand.”

Randall’s work ranges from tightly rendered pen and ink drawings to whimsical watercolor illustrations. His inspiration comes from his life experiences and travels.

The public is welcome to the Sunday reception. Caffe Tlazo is located at 607 4th Street / Highway 42, in Algoma. For more information, call 920.487.7240.
