Caleb Frostman Selected as Next DCEDC Executive Director

Caleb Frostman has been hired as the new executive director of the Door County Economic Development Corporation. Submitted.

The Board of Directors of the Door County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) selected Caleb Frostman to be the next Executive Director of the organization, following a search throughout Wisconsin and surrounding states. Frostman will replace DCEDC founding Executive Director Bill Chaudoir, who retires next month. Frostman will assume his duties Nov. 29.

Frostman, a Green Bay native and graduate of the UW-Madison School of Business with a degree in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics, comes to DCEDC from a career in banking, most recently as Vice President, Commercial Real Estate with US Bank in Minneapolis. Prior to that post, Frostman was a Commercial Real Estate Analyst/Officer for M&I Bank. His volunteer engagement includes the Downtown Minneapolis YMCA, Minnesota Shopping Center Association, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities.

“I am honored to be selected for this prestigious position in the Door County community,” said Frostman. “After 27 years with DCEDC, Bill Chaudoir leaves very big shoes to fill, but I am excited, energized and look forward to the challenge.”

DCEDC Board Chair Mike Baudhuin (WireTech Fabricators and Door County Manufacturers Association) stated, “After 200 resumes, 22 screening interviews, 15 phone interviews and four in-person interviews, we are very excited to bring Caleb to Door County and DCEDC. His background and experience really impressed the search committee. Special thanks have to go to my fellow Board member and Personnel Committee Chair Patti Vickman (Superintendent, Southern Door School District) for leading the search and to Diane Biersteker from Human Resources Consultants LLC, who helped guide the process.”
