Call for Actors

Auditions for the TAPWorks production of Miracle on 34th Street: The Radio Play will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 19 and 20 from 5:30 – 7 pm at Third Avenue Playhouse. Parts are available for up to 25 people, ages 10 – 60-plus. Performances are scheduled for Dec. 2 – 5 and 9 – 12.

Based on the classic film that inspired millions of children and adults to believe, this is the timeless story of the man who calls himself Kris Kringle, and his unusual determination to spread the spirit of Christmas. Complete with sound effects and cleverly scripted commercials, the theater becomes a radio studio from the ‘40s and invites the audience to become part of the magic.

No advance preparation is needed. Actors will be asked to do cold readings from the script.
