Call for Artists for SECURA Fine Arts Exhibition

The Trout Museum of Art invites Wisconsin artists to submit new work for the 39th annual SECURA Fine Arts Exhibition. Artists should submit no more than three images of the same work, or images of up to three different works.

This year the Trout Museum is using ZAPPlication for submissions, so artists will need to create an account if they do not have one. When applying, disregard “Booth Photos/Fees” because the exhibit is a juried show rather than an art fair. If submitting a video, social practice or performance piece, share a Vimeo link in the description in addition to images. Submissions are due by March 15.

Artists 18 years and older who live in Wisconsin are eligible. All forms of art will be considered. Works must have been completed in 2018-19. If the work has specific installation needs, describe them. Artists whose work has been accepted will be notified by email by 6 pm on April 1. Selected works must be delivered to the Trout Museum of Art between April 19 and 21. The exhibit runs May 4 to June 2, with an opening reception on May 4, 6-9 pm.

Awards include Best in Show ($2,000), first place ($1,000), second place ($500), third place ($250) and People’s Choice ($250). For more information, visit troutmuseum.org.
