Candlelight Walk through Whitefish State Park

As the sun sets over the dunes at Whitefish State Park, enjoy a walk along the sandy beach and through the forested dunes during a candlelight walk on Aug. 17, 7:30 – 9:30 pm. Join the Door Peninsular Astronomical Society for a special on-the-beach viewing and explanation of the sky through telescopes.

Also from 4 – 7 pm, meet Gayle Soucek, author of Haunted Door County & Door County Tales, and watch Carol Higgins from Door County Stencil Co. demonstrate her art of handstenciling designs on products exclusive to The Friends of Whitefish Dunes.
