Canning Workshop

“Preserving Foods Safely” is a hands-on educational workshop for beginning or experienced home canners.

The program covers topics such as freezing, food dehydration, and canning, including hot water bath and pressure canning. All materials are provided, and participants will take home a variety of canned goods, including jams, vegetables, pickles, and meats.

Classes include four sessions June 21 – 24 from 9 am – 3:30 pm. Two Master Food Preservers will conduct the series at NWTC, 229 N 14th Avenue, Sturgeon Bay. The cost for the class is $25. Participants are encouraged to bring a bag lunch.
