Cappaert Contemporary Gallery Celebrates Fifth Season

Cappaert Contemporary Gallery (cappaertcontemporary.com) will host an opening reception to celebrate its fifth season in Door County on July 6, 4-8 pm. Refreshments will be served. Ceramic artist Dale Keller will be doing a demonstration on his potter’s wheel during the reception. 

A trip to Taiwan inspired Keller’s recent works: He visited the National Palace Museum in Taipei, which has a permanent collection of nearly 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese imperial artifacts and artworks.

Gallery owner and resident artist Ginnie Cappaert works in oil and cold-wax painting and teaches internationally. Her gallery represents more than 30 artists who create contemporary painting, sculpture, glass, clay and jewelry.

Cappaert Contemporary Gallery, 7901 Hwy 42 in Egg Harbor, is open 10 am – 5 pm daily through Oct. 31, and it will also stay open until 8 pm on Thursday nights during the summer for the Thursday Night Lights shopping experience in Egg Harbor.
