Cappaert will demonstrate her oil and cold wax painting techniques in the gallery courtyard on Sept. 4, 1 – 3 pm. Cappaert concentrates on color, texture, line and shape when creating her minimalist landscape paintings. She uses a process of applying paint in many layers, then scraping and gouging to create a subtle, quiet effect to each of her oil paintings.

Hale’s paintings are a reflection of her personality, cheerful and bright. Her paintings include the vibrant use of color along with a sense of optimism.

Wilde captures rural Wisconsin landscapes and wildlife in his diverse paintings. Wilde’s extensive knowledge of birds and nature is apparent in his exquisite and accurate oil paintings.
