Capture the Spirit in Sister Bay (Nov. 24-25, 2017)

Kick off the holiday season with sparkling lights, holiday music, and a special visitor from the North Pole at Sister Bay’s Capture the Spirit event, Nov. 24-25.

On Nov. 24 at 4:30 pm, the merrymaking begins at the corner of Mill Road and Highway 42 with the arrival of Santa, Mrs. Claus, and one of their favorite reindeer. Santa will do the honor of lighting the Village Christmas tree and the holiday display. Then join in the caroling before Santa and Mrs. Claus greet the children and lead the crowd to the Sister Bay-Liberty Grove Library for storytelling and crafts.

On Nov. 25, 3 – 5 pm, join in the Annual Holiday Cookie Decorating event at the Sister Bay-Liberty Grove Fire Station.

All weekend long businesses throughout Sister Bay will offer holiday treats and specials. And don’t miss the Friends of Gibraltar Holiday Art Fair at Village Hall on Nov. 24 & 25, 10 am – 4 pm. Lunch will be served each day, with proceeds benefiting Gibraltar School programs.

In the spirit of the season, help support the 7th Annual Big Bundle Up with the Wisconsin Department of Tourism. Bring new or gently used warm winter clothing items like hats, scarves, mittens, sweaters and coats to the tree lighting.
