Carnival of Science at Southern Door High School

Door/Kewaunee Business & Education Partnership and The Women’s Fund of Door County are collaborating to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) awareness and provide area youth with a fun opportunity to experience STEM phenomena that they might not otherwise encounter. On April 11 Door/Kewaunee Science & Engineering Festival will feature Mind Trekkers. The event will run at Southern Door High School from 9 am to 3 pm and is free and open to the public.

Described as a “carnival of science,” the event focuses on STEM experiments and gives students the opportunity to engage in more than 100 hands-on activities that last between 30 seconds and 3 minutes. This event is fun for kids of all ages Kids/adults can participate in experiments like racing floating Legos, walking on water, and eating ice cream made with liquid nitrogen.
