Carol Ash Joins Door County North’s Board of Directors

Door County North, the local business association for communities within the Town of Liberty Grove, announces that Carol Fitzgerald Ash, owner of Door County Love Granola/Kick Ash Products, LLC, will join its board of directors in November 2017.

Ash is a native of Door County who, along with her husband Christian, launched Door County Love Granola/Kick Ash Products LLC in 2015. The unique granola business has rapidly grown to be a successful wholesale operation, and Carol and Christian have expanded into roasting coffee beans under the label Kick Ash Coffee. Both businesses are part of Kick Ash Products and located in Ellison Bay.

In late May, as a result of working with another rapidly growing Door County North business located right next door, Island Orchard Cider, Ash opened her own commercial kitchen and retail shop in Ellison Bay on Highway 42 near the corner of Garrett Bay Road.

“I have a deep-seated appreciation for small-town life, values and the beautiful land on which I am blessed to raise my own family. I am continually inspired by the community that surrounds me. The opportunity to serve on our local business association’s board is a way to give back to the community that helped me start my business. Hopefully I can use my Door County roots and my love of this unique area to help shape the business climate and support entrepreneurs no matter where they come from,” she said.
