Carol Newman Honored by Kiwanis Club of Northern Door

The Kiwanis Club of Northern Door recently honored Carol Newman with their 2015 Outstanding Citizen award at their annual fall banquet at The Fireside Restaurant in Ellison Bay. The award is presented in recognition of the contributions and dedication of an individual who has consistently demonstrated their selfless leadership and volunteered their time and skills to the Northern Door community. Newman was presented with a plaque recognizing her “…and her beloved Pioneer Store, a living landmark and a lifeline to a grateful community.” The club also installed new officers and directors.
