Cast Announced for Upcoming Production of “W;t”

Isadoora Theatre Company announces the cast for its upcoming production of W;t written by Margaret Edson. W;t, directed by Bill Bauernfiend, will be presented on May 14 – 17 and 21 – 24, 2009 at the Ephraim Village Town Hall.

W;t follows the story of Vivian Bearing, Ph.D., a renowned professor of English who has spent years studying and teaching the brilliant and difficult metaphysical sonnets of John Donne, and who has been diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer. Her approach to the study of Donne is aggressively probing, intensely rational. But during the course of her illness – and her stint as a prize patient in an experimental chemotherapy program at a major teaching hospital – Vivian comes to reassess her life and her work with a profundity and humor that are transformative both for her and the audience.

The cast is announced as:  Renee Kujawski as Vivian Bearing, Chris Milton as Susie, David Clowers as Dr. Kelekian, Kathleen Harris as E.M. Ashford, Marcel Bruyere as Dr. Jason Posner, and David Gordon as Mr. Bearing. The ensemble is rounded out by Alex Bosman and Kim Turkow as the students and fellows.

The show is directed by Bill Bauernfeind with Stage Management by Lynn Olson.

W;t will be performed May 14 – 17 and 21 – 24, 2009 at the Ephraim Village Town Hall at 9996 Water Street (Hwy. 42) in Ephraim. Thursday through Saturday shows are at 7:30 pm and Sunday matinees are at 2 pm. Tickets are available for $12 for adults or $7 for students, and may be reserved in advance by calling 920.493.3667, or you may purchase tickets at the door prior to each performance.
