Catch of the Month: Kids Reel it in at Sunset Park

Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding, in partnership with Sturgeon Bay Bass Tournament, hosted its first ever Kids Fishing Derby on Saturday, Aug. 18 as part of its 50th anniversary employee picnic.

Held at Sunset Park, kids ages 2-12 competed to catch three different species – bass, perch and bullhead. The top three contestants with the largest fish in each category received trophies and more than 50 prizes were awarded to participants ranging from new fishing poles, tackle boxes and miscellaneous tackle.
