C&C to Re-open as Cooper’s Corner

An architectural rendering of the plans for the C&C Supper Club building in Fish Creek shows major changes for the landmark location.

An early look at the plans for the Cooper’s Corner remodeling.

Bob Pollman, owner of the Door Peninsula Winery, bought the property in November, which is being remodeled and will re-open as Cooper’s Corner in May. The bar and lounge area of the restaurant will re-open Dec. 26 with a new menu.

“When we heard the C&C was going up for sale we had to look into it,” Pollman said. “We feel that it’s one of the best locations in Door County.”

Pollman also operates Shipwrecked in Egg Harbor and Bistro 42 in Carlsville. When the renovations are completed, the restaurant will include open-air rooftop dining, a smaller first-floor dining room, and a retail shop where Door Peninsula wines and other products will be sold.

Restaurant manager Eddie Downham said the long-standing Monday Taco Night will continue.
