Celebrate Birds in Algoma

Bird City Algoma is hosting a World Migratory Bird Day Celebration on April 29, 9 am – 2 pm, at the Algoma Youth Club, 620 Lake St. 

This year’s global theme is Water: Sustaining Bird Life, so the event includes a 10 am program by photographer John Walch about aquatic habitats for birds, an 11 am program about raptors with wildlife educator Samantha Brooks, and a 12:30 pm program about making your yard more friendly for birds and pollinators with Jennifer Phillips-Vanderberg.
