Join the fun of celebrating County Door on March 16, 11 am, when the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center (SBVC), Kitty O’Reilly’s Irish Pub and the Door County Medical Center present the 26th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Sturgeon Bay.

The parade was organized in 1993 by Mike Taylor, John Scanlon, Brian Cofou and Mark and Dan O’Hern, and the SBVC took it over in 1998.

Cheer on more than 25 parade participants as they move along the route, wearing green, doing their Irish jigs and handing out candy, beads and family-friendly goodies. The parade begins at Sawyer Park, proceeds to Oak Street, moves down Madison Avenue, heads across the Oregon Street Bridge, continues onto Third Avenue and ends at the intersection of Third Avenue and Jefferson Street.

The best nonprofit entry, best business entry and best Irish entry will receive awards.

For more details, visit online or the SBVC in person at 36 S. Third Ave.
