Celebrate Spring at Crossroads at Big Creek

On April 8, 6:30 pm, join the Friends of Crossroads as they plan for Earth Day, spring field trips, planting gardens and more.

The Door County Master Gardeners Association will host a lecture on April 9, 7 pm, in the Collins Learning Center. Mark Konlock, director of horticulture at the Green Bay Botanical Garden, will present “Bulbalicious: Adding Spring Blooming Bulbs to Your Garden” to share how to combine bulbs with perennials, trees and shrubs to add spring pops of color.

The Wild Ones will discuss insects – why we need them and how to attract them to our yards – on April 11, 7 pm, when Karen Newbern presents “Bugs are Our Buddies.”

The Collins Learning Center, 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay, is open 2-4 pm daily and during scheduled events.
