From parades to green beer to corned beef and cabbage, Door County will be filled with the luck of the Irish this weekend before St. Patrick’s Day. Check out the events and specials coming up.
FOOD
Stone Harbor Resort, 107 N. 1st Ave. in Sturgeon Bay
Raise a glass of green beer and other drink specials when Stone Harbor Resort hosts its St. Patrick’s Day party on Saturday, March 12. The John Welch Band will provide live tunes, 1-5 pm.
Mink River Basin, 12010 Hwy 42 in Ellison Bay
Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day in Mink River Basin style with corned-beef specials, guest bartenders and, according to owner Linden Ray, maybe even some surprise entertainment.
Kitty O’Reillys Irish Pub, 59 E. Oak St. in Sturgeon Bay
As any good Irish pub should, Kitty O’Reillys kicks off the festivities early, with breakfast starting at 8 am on Saturday, March 12. Get your fill of Irish coffee, Guinness, green beer and loaded Bloody Marys.
Wrap up breakfast just in time for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade outside at 11 am, followed by the Irish bag piper, 12-2 pm. Live music will kick off at 1 pm with performances by Whiskey Ditch and the Paul Hanna Band.
Then the afternoon specials are sure to please even the most discerning leprechaun. Get your fill of corned beef and cabbage, Irish eggs, Irish stew, shepherd’s pie, Guinness barbecue ribs, drink specials and more.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Sturgeon Bay
Everyone will be a wee bit Irish when the parade makes its way through the streets of Sturgeon Bay on Saturday, March 12. Presented by Kitty O’Reilly’s and Door County Medical Center, the parade will step off at 11 am from Sawyer Park.
Lucky Dusk Market Pop-Up at Kitchen Barons, 23 W. Oak Street in Sturgeon Bay
Find a few lucky charms – or at least some local eats and treats – at Northern Door’s year-round evening farmers market pop-up event – this time with a St. Paddy’s theme. From 3 pm until 7 pm, shop a selection of meats, fish, pasta and desserts, as well as locally made gifts, skin-care products, candles and more.
