Celebrate The Pearl’s Anniversary with a New Show

The Pearl of Door County is celebrating an anniversary and a new gallery show.

Andrea Naylor will present her newest collection, Waterscapes, with an opening reception May 27, 5-7 pm. This well-traveled artist uses her signature color palette and self-taught techniques to create images that allow viewers to see water through a creative, playful lens. Naylor’s solo show will run through July 31.

The Pearl, 143 S. 3rd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay, will also celebrate its three-year anniversary May 28, starting at 10 am. During the day, visitors can meet more than a dozen Door County artists who are represented at The Pearl, enjoy a chair massage, receive a tarot reading and break their own geode. Door prizes include original artwork, Pearl gift certificates, handmade jewelry, a Reiki session and more.

During the evening, The Pearl will host a community drumming circle led by Ed DiMiao at 5 pm, a concert by singer/songwriter Dorothy Scott at 6 pm, and a Reiki circle led by Pearl owner and wellness coach Megan Lundahl at 8 pm. Also enjoy reggae house music, snacks and beverages.
