Celebrate the Season at Fall Harvest Fest

Lautenbach’s Orchard Country Winery & Market will host its annual Fall Harvest Fest on Sept. 26, 10 am – 5 pm, with complimentary tasting of its wines, local micro brews and specialty foods.

The fun also includes fresh-picked apples, free guided winery tours – every hour from 10 am – 4 pm; and two delicious contests – an apple cider donut eating contest at 1 pm and an apple pie eating contest at 2 pm.

Hop aboard a horse-drawn wagon ride throughout the scenic orchards or sit back and enjoy the sounds of Last Man Standing from 1 – 5 pm. Children’s activities include pumpkin bowling, a football toss, an inflatable bouncer, face painting and balloons by Happyness Clowns 11 am – 3 pm. Plus there will be delicious food, bakery, and a variety of pumpkins and gourds available for purchase.

“We love everything about fall – from the fresh-picked apples and colorful leaves to the delicious treats and cooler temperatures,” says Kendra Sohm, marketing and sales manager. “It’s great to see families enjoy our festival and the wonderful activities on the peninsula.”
