CELEBRATE WORLD MIGRATORY BIRD DAY MAY 14

Bird City Algoma (birdcityalgoma.com) will celebrate World Migratory Bird Day on May 14, 9 am – 2 pm, at the Algoma Youth Club, 620 Lake St. 

Nature photographer John Walch will present “Birding by the Lakeshore” at 10 am; the Open Door Bird Sanctuary will be on-site with live birds starting at 11 am; and Charlotte Lukes will present “How to Attract, Feed and House Birds” at 12:30 pm. There will also be displays and items for sale throughout the day, along with door prizes, food and refreshments.
